The Philosophy of Yoga

Yoga is an art form. Hatha Yoga is a preparatory stage of physical purification that renders the body fit for the practice of higher meditation.

The primary aim of Yoga is to restore the mind to a place of peace and serenity and to free it from distress and confusion.

A regular yoga practice, one that includes asana (poses), breathwork and meditation, allows the practitioner to attain a sense of unity between the body, mind and spirit.

Bring balance to your life

Yoga is a series of postures that relate to all systems of the body while working to reduce stress, increase flexibility and calm the mind. Uniting the spirit with movement creates an experience much deeper than that of routine exercise. One must approach the poses with patience and acceptance, allowing the body to open like a flower at its own pace.

The philosophy of Yoga as a lifestyle is one that aids in bringing peace and balance by means of awareness in action and thought.
